Sailema Kennels and the influence of Mompesson Kennels In New Zealand.
 My kennels are mostly made up of the English Lines from the following dogs.

I was very fortunately to meet Bob and Francis twice. Once at their home in Derbyshire in 2013 and I  was so lucky to meet CH Royal Destiny (Jez) finally . The following year he passed away. We also saw them ehibit their dogs at Cruffs.

AUST & ISR CH Mompesson Gigolo (Imp AUST) influence
 
Thanks to Gary Creighton and Hedi Venamore ( Blackfriar Kennels Australia) I imported frozen Semen from Rupert ( AUST & ISR CH Mompesson  Gigolo). I had the opportunity in meeting Rupert who was a lovely dog .
 
 On 25th Jan 2006  the AI to NZ CH Golddust Sailema Lilly  (Lilly) producing  7 puppies and the top winning Champion NZ CH Sailema Just The Ticket (Jock) and the bitch NZ CH Sailema Sweet and Smart ( Lucy)
Jock produced 2 champions when he was mated to Abbotsgate Venetia (AI) Imp AUST.   Producing 11 puppies and 2 champions in the Sailema Kennels name.
One puppy went to Birchland kennels NZ CH Sailema Just the Bomb he was mated to ( Birchlands Crowning Glory) producing 10 puppies in the Birchlands name. I took a bitch and a dog puppy from that litter . The male puppy who became a great all round winner and Best In Show Winner NZ & AUST CH Birchlands Crown Crusader (Rider).
Lucy (NZ CH Sailema Sweet & Smart x Espaniere Compo)  litter 4th Sept 2007 produced 2 puppies producing a tbitch who became the top winning bitch at that time NZ CH Sailema Tiz Smart (Meg) .

 In 1st March 2008 the AI to Taniwha Moturiki (Daisy) produced Five bitches and one male puppy. Who became  our top winning dog NZ & AUST CH Sailema Royal Status (Dylan)!!!!!  OUR multi group and in show winner is still alive today at age 15 years 2023.
 He produced 3 show champions. One was from the mating to NZ CH Sailema Tiz Smart (Meg) producing NZ CH Sailema Diamanthe (Jazz). NZ CH Sailema Black Knight. One champion bitch was produced from Ashanti Kennels Name NZ CH Ashanti Royale Rose.
 His litter sister Sailema Royal Supreme  ( Kara) (still alive today) Had a litter on the 12th Nov 2012 to  my dog I owned at the time NZ & AUST CH Birchlands Crown Crusader  produced 2 NZ Champions. (NZ CH Sailema Crusade Ruler and NZ CH Sailema Crusade Tiara)
 We also exported one puppy from that litter to Adelaide in Australia to Alex Heitmann of Taraikha Kennels. She titled this puppy AUST CH Sailema Crusader-Rider( Hudson). He produced 2 Australian champions  a dog and a bitch. AUST CH Taraikha Wunderkindand the Australian Grand Champion bitch Taraikha Edel Weiss (Gretel).
 
 A second AI was done with SH CH Mompesson Royal Destiny in conjunction  with Birchlands Kennels
 producing 5 puppies. Two went to AustraliaI and I kept NZ CH Birchlands Royality at Sailema ( Bliss)  ( SH CH Mompesson Royal Destiny x NZ CH Birchlands Stormy Plum)
She had produced 3 NZ CHampions:

Daisy  was mated to  NZ CH Sailema Just the Ticket and on the 27th Dec 2011 she produced a huge litter of 11 puppies. Three champions both dogs. The dog NZ CH Sailema Just D Top went to Mayda Kennels. NZ CH Sailema Just The Bomb went to Birchlands Kennels producing our top dog at the time NZ & AUS CH Birchlands Crown Crusader.
Daisy had a second litter in 2012 producing 6 puppies who were great hunting dogs.

NZ CH Birchlands Royality at Sailema ( Bliss)  
Bliss first litter born on 18th Sept 2014  was an AI to Mompesson Striker only had 4 puppies. The bitch puppy NZ CH Sailema Strike Magic ( Whisper) went to Birchlands Kennels. A multi group and in show winner.

She had another litter of 3 puppies 2016 One Champion NZ CH Saliema Majestic Lady RN SN NCS NVS NES NIS (Lady)  who is a multi sports titled dog and is our  grestest scentwork dog.

Her final litter of 3 puppies were born in 2018  One champion NZ CH Sailema Ritches Romance. (Bracken)
Bliss is now retired .
